Orion Plastics, About Our Extruded Plastics Product

Orion Plastics, ISO-certified in 2003, manufactures a diverse range of virgin resin sheets that includes TPO, ABS, Soft Touch ABS, Solarkote, DR Acrylic, Korad, ASA weaterable cap, HMWPE and HDPE at very competitive prices and quick turn-around times. Using multiple resin types, offering a variety of sheet textures, Orion Plastics extrudes sheet that suits almost all manufacturing requirements; our products are used by thermoforming companies, distributor and fabricators to produce end-consumer plastic products ranging from automotive parts to hockey rinks.
With our large warehouse and materials-handling facilities, we stock multiple sheet sizes, a range of gauges and a variety of standard colors. For example, our Arena Board product is warehoused in nine stock colors with custom colors available.
Computer technology employed directly on the line monitors the quality of color as it is being extruded and guarantees day-to-day and year-to-year consistency. To produce custom colors, Orion Plastics uses two of the world’s largest color compounders and provides rapid custom color delivery from original match to final sheet run.
We schedule our production runs in a way that intentionally adds flex to production schedules. The result is some of the tightest-turn-around times in the country along with the ability to meet unexpected customer requirements.
